Portfolio Update Jun 2019

Stock market recovered much of its losses in the month of June. Market seemed to have digested the impact from the trade war, and any slight good news was enough to send the index upwards. So the truce in Sino-US trade war, though just kicking the can down the road, as enough to create some cheers.

STI rose 193 points or 6.22% in June, though everyone on the street was lamenting the business sentiment was not so good. My portfolio value increases by 5.7%, slightly lower then the index.

I subscribed to Frasers Centre Point Trust right issue and received some shares this month. I received also some shares from MLT, MIT,  OCBC and ESR Reit through scrip dividend scheme. No selling was done.

Dividend received this month was S$11,500, 1/3 from UT and 2/3 from shares. Total dividend received in the first half of the year was S$93,833.

Hi Sanye

Kudos to achieving so much passive income. May i know at what age did you "retire"? and what do you do after "retiring"?

Hi Sanye
U sold off your ComfortDelGro and switched to Ireit?
I noted that CDG was the TOP in your list the previous month.
Can share the reasons for switching?
Thanks

Hi cookie,

I don't know how it happened, but that was an error in my post. Thanks for pointing out the error.

Hi ( don't know how to write your name),

I am actually semi-retired, still working part-time. I spend my free time reading, enjoying a cup of chinese tea, playing Xiangqi and learning piano.

It's fantastic, in my opinion, when people can make any bet on any amount of money onto any field of business or even any team (sport bettings), and that's why when there was a time to consider about installing an online platform for such investment things, we have asked pros from team BetInvest (here: https://www.betinvest.com/datafeed/), and they have done everything really good, giving us the best option they have.

hi
i note that sph is 5th place, hence should account for quite a lot of dividends
whats your comment on the recent 44% drop in recent quarter profit of sph?
drop in earnings might translate in lower dividends for sph
will u reduce ur stake?
